Rush line will form 30 minutes before showtime at the corresponding venue.
Approximately 10 minutes prior to the screening, empty seats are counted and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis to those in line.
There is a maximum of 1 ticket per person.

Do I need to print out the ticket I bought online or can it be scanned on my cell phone?
We are able to scan QR codes from tickets through electronic devices. We request that you pull up your ticket ahead of time, while waiting in line.

What if my printer doesn’t work or I forget the ticket?
Visit any NOFF box office to have your tickets reprinted. However, you have to show your order number, photo ID, or NOFS membership card.

When do online ticketing and reservations end?
Two hours before the listed start time for the film. After that, tickets can be purchased at the box office. Box Office opens one hour prior to showtime.

Can I get student rush tickets in advance?
No. You must follow the rules of the rush line, which starts 30 minutes before each screening. You also must present a valid student ID to purchase rush tickets.

Are NOFF purchases refundable?
All sales are final, including NOFF merchandise. Passes and tickets are neither refundable nor transferrable. Only in a situation that a screening is canceled by NOFF, all tickets will be refunded.

I’m an NOFS member. How many tickets can I reserve at the member price?
You can reserve one ticket per membership at the discounted price (two tickets for dual memberships).

What methods of payment are accepted at NOFF box offices?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and cash
Checks are accepted only for membership + donation with valid ID.

I can’t decide between two movies playing at the same time. Can I reserve seats to both and decide later?
Unfortunately, our system can’t accommodate that.

Passes are available for pick-up only at the Main Box Office at Ace Hotel New Orleans.
Most of the Passes will be ready to pick up starting October 10, when the Main Box Office opens. Only festival guests (filmmakers, jurors, panelists, mentors) pick up time begins on Tuesday, October 11th.

You have to wear your Pass to all NOFF screenings and events to gain access to the priority access lines, parties, and the VIP Lounge at Ace Hotel New Orleans

Can I flash my Pass and get into a movie?
All passholders are required to reserve and print tickets in advance of screenings.

I purchased an Unlimited Film Package or a Six Film Package. Do I get a physical pass to wear?
No. We’ll give you a package number to reserve tickets online or at any box office.

I lost my Pass. Can I get a replacement?
Please report to Pass Pick Up location at the main box office. The replacements will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please note that there will be a fee charged when addressing lost, forgotten, or stolen passes.

What if I am running late?
To guarantee seating, you have to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the film, even if you have a ticket or reservation.
If you have not checked in 10 minutes before the screening time, NOFF releases your ticket or reservation for sale. This means there is no guarantee you will be admitted to the movie. We do not issue refunds if ticketholders arrive late.

Can I save a place for my guest arriving later?
Saving space in line or seats in the theater is not permitted.

Can I bring outside food or drinks to a theater?
No. All the venues will have concessions offering drinks and snacks. Some venues have restaurants in close proximity and serve alcohol that can be brought into the theater.

Are all Festival venues ADA accessible?
All venues meet ADA requirements. Please refer to Venue Page for specific information on each venue.
Contact the NOFF two weeks in advance to request any additional accommodations. NOFF staff will make every effort to provide appropriate accommodations to ensure a positive and equitable experience for all our guests.

Can I bring my child to a movie during the Festival?
Most of the NOFF screenings are only appropriate for adults and are not suitable for younger audiences. Selected screenings will be marked as family-friendly in the program guide and those movies are recommended for wider audiences, including those under 18. We urge all filmgoers to read the full descriptions and view trailers, when available, on our website before making final selections.
